Another repost from the past...
My words are lost at last...
I stand mute before the silent crowd...
Yet my heart speaks aloud!!!

Poem Artwork

Uncertainty brandishes its own blade of steel, yet certainty, has a way in which to heal. Either way, it all comes just the same.

If I were to be no more,
what would you do,
what would you say?
If my time had come,
and my day be done
would you,
could you still pray?

For these are my thoughts,
These are my fears
And they haunt me everyday.
I long so much to be by your side,
To hold your hand, to make you smile.
but the night is calling my name,
and now it is time for me,
alas time for me to say goodbye.

So, pray tell,
If this were true of today,
Could you bid my soul its leave?
Or would you cry and plead me to stay?

Answer me now, and do so quick,
As the hands of time, continue to click.
For I hear the night, that calls my name.
Tell me now, that I may know.
Answer me, so that I may lay peace to my soul,
For the night is calling my name......

The certainty of death is surpassed many times by the uncertainty of what it means. Well stated, J. Allen.

That's very strange… She pleads with me like this almost every day.

Write a book about yourself...
Then when you die leave one for all you know.
Just label it "Free Stuff About Me"
Then place it on their book shelf.

Amen my friend,

When the time is right I can say good bye but only if it was because the night time called. So many need the peace of knowing that the one's they leave are going to be okay without them. The celebration of life is what makes this possible. Good write and I am sure we will get new ones from you again soon.
