While dining here at Logan’s this Sunday afternoon; I look and I listen to those around me and I see their loneliness, their insecurities, their false smiles. And I feel my own. Are we real or do we just exist???

Observations Beyond The Mind

People mill about,
Faux smiles abound.
Symbolism of the mind.
What is real?
What is of this season in time?

Realism is nevermore.
The entity which once was.
Fake smiles with crooked teeth cross parallel with the past and present time.

No longer should I know what is real.
Never ever will soft words this mind steal.
For nothing exists beyond the mind,
No stars, no sky, no heaven, nor even the platitude of time.

So say now unto the nothingness,
I feel that I live…
But do I really exist.

A philosophical question that my scientific mind has no problem with. Everything exists outside of the mind of an individual. When an individual begins to think that their mind is the source of reality, insanity has set in. The mind may be a powerful thing for generating perception, but it does not create reality, it only observes it, sometimes very badly.

It's okay to be cautious, and observative, but it's not okay to doubt another's smile and kindness toward you. Life is too short to have doubts. Just take the kindness extended and live for the moment of joy.

Many people smile for a reason. No matter how their lives are, and where their lives are at, people smile because they feel something inside themselves that makes them smile. Perhaps they feel your kindness; or perhaps they feel a moment of joy. I have never doubted a person's sincerity when they smile, no matter where his/her life may be.

I agree that the mind (our view is most important)
