A sobering poem. It is sad, I agree, because the Bible seems to indicate that it is coming soon. I wait joyfully for Jesus' appearance, but mourn for those who do not believe. He said,"I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father but by Me." People think their good deeds will be weighed against their bad deeds and they will surely come out ahead and go to heaven.
If only everyone would believe what God says instead of what false teachers and self-evaluation tells them.

There are certain things that we know now that we've never known before. We know that we can change things by changing our behavior. While it appears that great destruction is upon us because we know so much more than we ever did, we also know that we can change the world by acting differently than we ever did before.

Worrying and praying about something does not solve it. Action does. I have noticed that young people of our generation rarely volunteered to do anything (hence the draft). This generation of young people is volunteering at a tremendous rate and changing the world regardless of what old folks think.

Why can't we all be saved?

I often wonder if it is a race between mankind and God as to who will transform the earth first. I'm sure God's plan has a much better outcome for those who have their feet planted firmly in their faith.

Must have been something you ate before going to bed...Al, how many times have I told you that you can't have heavy, spicy meals just before going to sleep...now swallow down some Tum's & go for a long walk; it will clear your mind...and you know me, I got to make a joke out of everything...I believe u r probably right, but God does not want to end the world, he would have to many trouble makers like me to deal with...-e-
