HALLOWEEN NIGHT
It’s Halloween Eve
And the kids are in doubt
What are they to wear tomorrow
When they’re out and about.
The moon has come up
The kids are tucked tight
And thoughts of Halloween
Fill their dreams that take flight.
Ghost, goblins, pumpkin heads or ghouls
Superman, Cinderella, Obama - You Fool…
Witches, warlocks, Minions, and Mice.
Little Red Riding Hood, Betty Boop and Dice.
Grandma’s open their doors and receive such a fright.
While little monsters with their bags held tight.
Chant ‘Trick or Treat’, ‘Trick or Treat’,
‘Give me something good to eat’.
Bags are filled to the brim with goodies and treats,
Chocolates, cupcakes, spiders and things that are neat.
Why can’t every day be as fun and scary as Halloween night.
Where even black cats will give you a fright…
Happy Halloween…Boooooo

enjoyed the read! glad to see the fun and children's joy of the day being celebrated
Have things changed? Is all this over choice of dress-up opportunity starting to get the kids like it has adults? ;-)
