Today is Valentines Day,
A day above many days that we express our commitment
For those we love.

Sadly, I will have to work this day and miss the chance to tell Jan, my wife, how much she means to me and how much I love her.

Yet in my minds view of life,
This day is everyday.
For love runs deeper than the sea.
It crosses the chasms of time itself.

Life has been described as the wink of an eye,
Only a whisper in the wind of a gentle heart.
Therefore be it Valentines Day or any day,
My love for Jan will travel on the winds of time for eternity.
