My cousin Charles Gary McClain / aka Uncle Bud to those who were very close, went to be with his Lord and Savior on 5/11/2016. He was very well known and loved my so many people. He also was a true testimony to God's miracles and grace. The outpouring of sympathy to the family has been tremendous. Rest In Peace Uncle Bud, Rest in Heavenly Peace.

Transcending
As I sit here with the never ending tide,
I think about life and our own mortality .
My cousin passed away a few hours ago and I am sad.
Then I think again about the soft call of the incoming tide and I ponder the reasoning itself for life.
We, I conclude are transcendent and like unto the tide of a never ending sea, we shall arise past this shell of clay to a better and brighter day.
For it is our God in which we have faith that shall raise us up and transcend us beyond this fragile, imperfect shell of clay.
Rest in peace my sweet man. You are now in God's loving hands.
In tribute to my late cousin... Gary "Bud" McClain
