True Love Never Fades

Allen wrote this one a long time ago and I just happened on it and saw it had never been posted. In fact I don't even think I had read it until tonight. I still to this day don't know how he puts us with me, much less loves me as much as he says he does. But I'm so blessed to have him in my life. He is one of the most gentle, sweet men you could ever meet and the way he writes just mystifies me. I am beyond blessed, at least most of the time, lol. He can get on my nerves every now and then...but then I get on his more...All I can say is I love my hippie baby...

True Love Never Fades
Time as we live speaks in a queer sort of way.
Our bodies age, we wither and succumb to the silent song of quiet rage.
Yet the sun still doth shine when we see beyond our age and see the spirit and mind.
Though my body and bones have grown old,
I still see the beauty of youth in this wife of mine that I forever behold.
Her face and smile shines even on my darkest of days.
She shares all of her being unto me, while to God I give praise.
Her beauty is like that unto a morning glory.
Her laughter is contagious and full of joy.
I love this women whose name is Jan.
I love more than a mere mortal could ever understand.

So many poems in a row makes me want to of them touch,
Writing to you is an expression of love,
And to me writing is nothing more than another crutch...-e-
My "hippie" Bubba IS precious, and it blesses me how much you know/show it!
I think of you guys often.
GOD bless you both abundantly!
