Before going to bed last night we were listening to several songs and I caught a line that talked to me... 'I will go to Heaven loving you'. I thought that was so deep and exactly the way I feel toward Allen. So as we kissed goodnite, I whispered I will go to Heaven loving you and he said I can run with that. I went to sleep thinking he would write something light and loving...boy was I wrong. As usual it turned out dark and heavy. Where all this darkness comes from, I don't know, but according to him, he's always has been this way since he was a very young child... Jan

I Will Go To Heaven Loving You.
I see the coming day when the calling of my time in this vessel of clay will come to its bittersweet end. Though my heart will slow and my eyes begin to close giving way to not the sweet colors which I once did behold, but encroaching shadows and muted shades of gray.
Voices I shall hear, some distant, some born in my heart precious and dear. As my eyes begin to dim and I slowly lose the ability to see, I will feel the gentle touch of your hand, the soft embrace and the sweetness of your love so fair.
Soon, oh soon the darkness closes in. The voices turn to white noise as I draw closer to the end. Yet I still feel your touch and it fills my heart with your love. I somehow know that you shall be with me unto the end.
My breathing has slowed and voices I hear no more. Though silent am I, in visions of heaven I now see. I feel that you are there as you have always filled my dreams.
There is a nothingness now. My heart has stopped, my breathing has forever ceased. My body is now but an empty shell, yet my spirit lives forevermore and I now see three angels gathered by my side. Yet still somehow, I know that you my love are still there and that our love will never die. For in my spirit I still feel your warm wet tears the very moment I took my last breath and forever to this world eternally closed my eyes.
Strange colors and unknown smells now fill unknown senses. I cannot speak, I cannot explain, yet in certainty I know that within my soul our love will always remain. Therefore, Jan my sweet love, always, oh always know that I will go to heaven loving you.
