Weep Not For Me

I am as the grass of the field, I grow, I flourish and I fade away and remembrance of me is no more.

Poem Artwork

With the grace of ages

You softly touched my face.

As I, burdened of heart quivered, and released a long sigh.
You in all your and love never once turned away,

as my body began to waste and die.
You said that you would never leave

and that to me, and only me would you cleave.

Time has proven you true ,

but it is I who must now leave, and not you.

Gently still you kiss my swollen lips

even though they cracked and bled.

Hot

Salty tears began to fill my eyes

as I tried to speak and say my good-byes.

While the darkness slowly fills the room

The certainty of no more tomorrow's looms.

Alas though,

Your sweet smile is now all I can see,

as it eases me over into eternity.

Weep not for me my love,

And grieve no more

for now I'm free.

Free, from the pains of this life,

Free now to spread my wings and

Fly.

Good bye my love,

Goodbye.
