Exegesis of Unutterable Story

There is no gate, there are no steps
no tune that calls upon the wind
no Tritons beckoning, or silver-spread
sheets of salty, flooding lust.

There are no walls, no Mermaids leaping
above the golden mist of this no-Time
and if there are submerged pathways
secrets of dolphins, wisdom of whales
so they are kept and serenely remain.

No coming from, no going to
or impending gallops cast upon waves
with rippling manes of rippled foam
no Neptunian vaulting onto backs of sunset
no pearly dawning of Venusian breasts
that touch may draw from any shell.

She’s simply there, she’s merely here
feet on the sand, hair loose, just flowing
her breath as real as are the whispers
of dreams in her ear, warm as his lips
that brush her neck and rhyme with
the flush of her own blood, his skin
the grain of her own pores.

They purely are where seagulls
may fly and white cranes may dive
where seaweed may weave all concepts
of what a shore, a remote beach must be
yet unseen and cloaked in what a
somewhere like love beyond borderlands
skies, oceans and myths, becomes the naked
flame of a whole, unfathomable entity.

No how, no when, and why least of all;
Just his arms around her, just her nipples
peaking with his cresting tide, just her hips
quadrating Atlantis found, when his hips
design remembered consonances of a song
never lost of a light that will ever
erupt this everywhere-nowhere
at the center and well beyond the scope
of any answer. Where they are
with no questions, when, without going
as One they come.
