~Now my Dilemma~

Poem Artwork

Why oh Why did our love go awry
Now...you want me back
what do I feel

For it was a night not to remember,
so erratic was my heart beat
...confusion running rampant...
when you said "goodbye"

Promises of the white rose,
your offer of purity to restore
But, do I dare trust again,
pensive are my thoughts

At first glance...
it would be so easy to Fall back
into our Summer of romance

Are You truly sorry,
can you take my hand
and be only mine

If my heart "takes" your name,
will you grow old with me

Can you answer? with
till death does us part

It may have been a night not to remember but it is obviously still on your mind. Trust has to be earned but can he earn trust while you are apart? A nice take on the age old dilemma of wayward lovers.

Beautiful reflection ~
And, well he'd be awfully lucky to get to be your companion, Vivian, so you make sure he's authentic and it does sound like you love him.
Blessings,
Christine

People can be truly remorseful, and the only way to find that out is to give them a chance to prove it. On the other hand, "once bitten, twice shy."

Definitely a dilemma, always use your gut to make your choice, the heart is too tender. You have captured this wonderfully. Everyone can relate on some level for there are always questions to be answered when it comes to relationships...Good luck on this one..:)

Much peace, love and light,
Amber "V"
