Poem Artwork

Hidden vortex in whirling wind
through seamless transitions
cynical attitudes and sexual
motivations can become
inclusive in morphing
phenomenon of noir illusions
emerging so very midnight black

Thus that of an ebbing tide
rushing out to sea be of
trading a damaging wind
to cleanse a cold cold heart
when ones beating waves run
up to cloudless skies of blue

Forever taking the brass
ring of a circling carousel of
moons rotating magnetic orbit
attracting new beginnings in
gravity of peace and happiness
repelling black noir trappings
along ones stepping stones

A tightly packed piece indeed. I like tales of redemption and fresh beginnings and this certainly fits the bill. Demands close examination too. Well done.

Out of the pitch black past and leaving the illusions behind; in to a new awareness. Very intelligently written and captivating poem.

Fabulous poem, Vivian. I know you to be an attractive woman who also appreciates "attracting new beginnings." Love the wording and phrasing of this offering; a job well done!

Great writing! I read this three times. Your use of metaphors and word choices overwhelmed my senses. This is truly, in my opinion, one of your very, very best.
