~Anywhere Going Nowhere~

Mighty is the train, do you stop here,
can I board with my doggie...oh so
dreary are these rainy nights

For I am running, I know not where

Distance me from my path, so that I
might find love the way it is supposed
to be...where people dance in the rain
and are happy to be

Oh! my thoughts be quiet,
Please
for I do not hear the train running
only its beams of light through the
mist the wind is blowing in

Is this in any way a sign?

Suddenly I felt a jarring...
as I was being awakened
from a deep winter's sleep

A nightmare, My beloved
Mother was to tell...as she
hugged my neck and gave
me a kiss...comfortable in
my home of plenty with
my faithful doggie near by

So, beware all of You, let the
terror of the Night Train pass

Knowing there is a Love Train
to catch as the whistle blows,
and the conductor roars

All aboard!
