 ~Duality~

Beneath
the veneer of style
candid
always not people appear
acknowledge
trust
and follow
angel
flying high
spreading
love by song bird
lullaby
giving wings above a tide
so that water
flowing over as surf
won't be
coming back the
other way
rather
rhythmic
carrier wind
cohesion
wing
upon
wing

Lovely work Vivian, colorful and gentle.

OK...I enjoyed the first few lines and then...the bright green color masked the words. The color matters because my eyes are very light sensitive. Perhaps I am a minority but I have had to change colors in my OWN poems because I am unable to relax and read my own work. Charcoal blacks, dark blues and dark greens are good. Yellow is impossible to register as is orange and bright green. Do you see what I mean?

Peace, love and blessings to you,

John Michael Domino

An angel whispers the love this rhythmic sweet song wing upon wing
gathers in a lullaby.

Loved it all, Vivian! Title, image, poem. I smiled, read, cringed, led, and winged!

What a charming little cascade of words, a novel construction and an interesting theme.

Duality says we each have this angel and to ignore her would not be beneficial to our spiritual self, and besides, who can turn a deaf ear to an angel?
