Not shod With prissy-pink leather loafers Her feet
Not glamorized With ringlets dipped in melted gold Her toes
Not queenly adorned With Egyptian styled anklets Her ankles
Not crying With teardrop jewel Her bellybutton
Not singing With satin opera gloves Her hands
Not ringing With bell bracelets Her wrists
Not shimmy shaking With shimmering shawl Her shoulders
Not drenched With cascading waterfall necklace Her neck
Not pierced With tiny spears, dangling with rubies Her earlobes
Not sparkling With diamond girl lipstick Her lips
Not twinkling With midnight star barrettes Her hair
Not dressed up With sapphire-studded scarf Her noggin
Coin-less her pockets Lost and not worth finding her purse Ms Moneybags is not her nickname
Yet even though She has no collateral Or security deposit, to put down
With gladness galore He will let her Move into his heart And live worry free Without fear Of ever being evicted
If she decorates The innermost walls of his heart With the pearls of her love Pearly love so precious It cannot be measured By any standard in this world
