Beautiful Is My Mother
By Handsum-Hart

Beautiful is her kindness
Like a soft kiss, given by a raindrop
To a snow-white daffodil

Beautiful is her spirit
Like the arcs of colored light
Called rainbows that beautify the sky

Beautiful is her voice
Like the melody of a soft song
Floating upon the West Wind

Beautiful is her smile
Like a sudden burst of sunlight
Breaking through the clouds

Beautiful is her hair
Like puffs of cotton grass
Dancing in the summer fields of Alaska

Beautiful are her eyes
Like the sky-lit sapphires
Worn by the ancient queens of Egypt

Beautiful is her heart
Like a Double Delight Rose
Admired for its beauty and fragrance

Beautiful is her love
Like a heavenly hug
Received from the wings of an angel

I can identify. I had the youngest, most beautiful mother of all my classmates. Her love is much deeper and broader now, bridging generations with her email and visits.
