Scream… Shout Take a drag if you must But blow it out! Alleviate yourself of drama That’s not what it’s all about Come on! Let’s go… Brothers… Come on! I be that Dream weaver Representing the true believer Believing that he can and will achieve enormity Through conformity He must take hold of the concept Of an in-depth investigation Of his misrepresentation, degradation and emasculation, Today he’s a large percentage of the incarcerated population Although I am woman… I can understand my man’s frustration! Strive my brothers…fight for your dreams! Some achievable… some believed to be extreme Scream… Shout Take a drag then blow it out! Alleviate yourselves of drama That’s not what it’s all about Come on! Let it go… My Brothers… Come on! My beautiful Sun of 5%... My street corner brother with ill intent My Christian Brothers… My Rasta Dread Head Kings… My flashy brothers wearing those diamond rings My brothers rocking those twisted extensions My Muslim brothers, My brothers who witness Jehovah… with good intentions My wall street brothers, My brothers down at the mission My brothers down on the Mason Dixon… getting in that good fishing My hustling brothers on the corner selling drugs… My rough neck brothers… labeled thugs My brothers making millions from recording contracts… My medical advising brothers preventing heart attacks My brothers I adore you My bothers I implore you Don’t cave… you’re no longer that field slave You are emancipated… You now have the opportunity to be educated Digest this cultural knowledge… Your conscience will be elevated Don’t get complacent and forget what the struggle was for Get about the business of opening new doors No war was ever won without proper meditation and adequate mental rest So before you set out to do your best… Scream… Shout Take a drag if you must But blow it out! Alleviate yourself of drama Find the courage to work it out Come on! Let that stress go… Blaque Kings… Come on!
