A trick or treat
not usually
thought be a fall-in holiday
We treat ourselves a trick sweet
for a caddy candy
round the street corner
An fill a scare with goods a' swallow
other swallow our fears

A gulf all the goods
'tween our insides our nightmares
and a cold unknown autumn lair
'twen the end and start
of our warm homes
and our journeys
midst a road of life-
bearing strangers
same as no different our own homes

Aliens and strangers
do ignite yearly fears
swallowed as easy as candy
from a strange bakers oven
cooked only for its' taste
and not for the sensual seduction
of a strange strangers eyes
by a strangers lair.

Any dozen bakers dozens
only cook
a pretty tasting candy
is all only behold
by tasting strangers
easily as a bakers beauty
to a strangers eyes
can be as sinful
and as bad a'looking
as the earth to a grave
sinner
So along one day late in Autumn
I thoughtfully wrote
a strictly mathematically tasting
trick

"see" who pretty smart
answer it or swallow it
pass it along
as a song always pallette
better than
hard to digest paper pens or pencils...

scare a stranger
on any forboding
night traveled road
