Plaque of questions unanswered
solitude in the black death
of reality viewed.
The rat of age and temperment
having devoured my soul.
The sands of love having run
thier course through my
trembling, aching fingertips.
I bow my head in awe
in bewilderment of the plythe.
Unable to change destinies
tricks on the mind
cruelties to the heart
death blows to the soul.
My only wish to be
that if death be the sentence.
Make it quick and merciful
drag not out the agony
of despair in lonliness.
For this time to the edge of sanity
I may not be able to cling.
death by you be sweeter
than living without.
