He knew not the color of her eyes
though he pictured them to be green. Knowing never would he be gifted
with seeing the live sparkle there. Nor had he heard the lilt of her voice
however dear her words became. The fragrance of her passing close by
would but be as in a dream. Never the brush of physical touch
or hands held in a soft embrace. But their minds had found one another
and she had healed his aching soul. So he held her presence very dear
feeling warmth in her being here. He knew the rules, he knew his place
but wished he could just let her know. A loving place he embraced her in
for all the days that would become.
this is a beautiful bounty of love Budd
life is to short to not let another person
know how they have embraced you with such beautiful emotion
to many people want to offer other people negative things in cyber
space (more so than in face to face)
and too you have offered very lovely inspirational expressions!!

QUITE OFTEN...IMAGINATION IS ENOUGH. IT ONLY TAKES AN 'IMAGE' ON A CANVASS OR A SCULPTURE'S FINE WORK...AND THE MIND BREATHES LIFE INTO A 'FIGMENT'...TAKING FROM IT A 'WISH', A 'HEALING'...OR WHATEVER IS NEEDED...FOR THE MOMENT. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Dear Sir I believe I know this dear lady in which you speak of. You are truly a blessed man to have her. And more blessed for it is a love that will never leave you. Your prose are a beautiful tribute to her. Something so preciously written from the heart of you to this precious angel.
budd this soft loving poem just lifted and lulled me with such romantic peace i find hard to put into words...'beautiful' is far too trite. you've hooked me with this one...pat
Other poets do not realize that what we, you and I may write, may or may not relate to what we truly feel or to whom we write about. It's not that you and I may walk about with our hearts upon our sleeves for all others to see but we are, you and I, writers after all and If we should make others feel that what we write is our truth and the truth of our lives, then quite possibly we, you and I are doing our jobs as writers... Fine poem here old friend; and I say this not that you and I have been friends for long, but knowing that you and I are old... and friends, I do think.

Soft and gentle description of what love's emotions play out when it is someone heart touchable but not physically touchable. Well done Budd.

From a gifted man, a soulful painting of the most beautiful, tender gift that I have had the pleasure of reading in a very long time. From the fingers flow the ink-woven words of a true gentleman. You should tell her.
He is either in another dimension, or she's his Internet bud, Budd, but he doesn't have Skype or Face Time. Helen Keller, move over… A new experience is revealed. Loving and lovely.
My experience has revealed that far too few recognize the power of anticipation in the reward game of intimacy. Here, you have given us a cautious, yet passionate look at conviction as it relates to love and asks us to allow the nurturing by imagination to be irrigated, weeded and harvested... eventually.

The way you describe her and your feelings for her gives a warmth in my heart already.
Your heart must be glowing.
Thanks for sharing such a beautiful vision with us Budd
This is an inspiring poem, Budd, and one that I can somewhat relate to. You have the soft touch of a master poet when you sit down to pen your thoughts. We all benefit from what you write.
Budd t'is beautiful! What heartfelt beautiful visions. T'is though I would be seeing ya sittin' there gazing off in her direction in admiration just dreaming rather self absorbed in thought. Perhaps more, but aye darlin' just beautiful.
This is my personal inspirational book of poetry. It contains many poems written for family, friends, and relevant life situations. Hopefully you will find some that will encourage and inpsire you in whatever arena you are found in your circle of l

What a wonderfully lucky lady, Budd. If only she knew, she would perhaps find a thoughtful and inspiring soul-mate.
I love this very much
