These lunar reflections of peace
shimmer speckled by broken surf
with whitecaps parallel to beach.
As we walk hand in hand alone
under ebony skies lighted bright
down glistening perfect white sand.

Hearts beating deep with love and joy
head on my shoulder as we walk
we stopped and shared a gentle kiss.
Both staring into bright green eyes
of the one we're meant to be with
so we watch this night's spectacle.

Finally we must turn to go
find our way to a place of sleep
as stars pulse and the moon wanes deep.
In our bed of togetherness
we roll into each others arms
and cuddle close in lovers sleep.
