sometimes the missing is all consuming
sept. 11, 2013
A pack of four but lays enwait
all staring at the entrance late. Lonely sire with his three bitches
forlorn are they she enriches. Suns and moons keep passing by
shes not here and they wonder why. Vigill goes on paws under chin
"til the day she returns again.
LOVELY...REALLY LOVELY! STYLE, RHYME, RHYTHM, PHRASES AND THE PICTURE...ALL, SO WELL, CONVEY THE ESSENCE OF LONGING, MISSING AND EXPECTING. BUDD, THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
This picture is just precious!
Missing someone is heart rending, even more so, when they are still on earth and far away...
Long ago they put candles in the windows as lights to let others know they were home. May candles of light be in your minds eye, while paws under chin wait for this return...
These little creatures God gave are blessings till we can be with those we care about...
Hoping moonbeams and sunrises continue to captivate you sweet Budd as you grace us with your beautiful poetry!
Aww, they have feelings, too. Humans forget that. And I can say from experience that our furry friends can be more loyal than our own human families. Well done.
Whether she is coming or not, they will wait patiently.
My second cousin, also a twin, had a frisky little poodle she named Tawny. Tawny had many pups that she sold except for one so that Tawny would have a companion. Jean's twin sister, Jan, divorced, and came to live with her. Jan wanted dogs, too, so two puppies were kept from the next batch. When the sisters were coming back to California on a trip to Chicago on the train, Jan had a heart attack and died. When I came to the house after that, I was greeted by four poodles jumping all over me happily. Waiting for Jan to come home?
They say that when Jean died in her sleep in bed, they had a hard time approaching her because all four poodles stood guard over her in death.
Where could she be? I hate to think the worst but you say, "Suns and moons keep passing by". Those pups are so cute! They have a good sire who stays with them. Moving piece.
My book of poetry is being redone by me, I have a beautiful cover designed and the book will have a few more than 200 poems in it. I am going to have it printed on demand here in Canada. When it is done I will let you know when it is done and if anyo
Paws for viewing. Wonderful poem.
