THE POST ELECTION VIOLENCE
I voted , yes! i voted,
verry innocently i noted,
the one whom i wanted,
to lead me till end.
Little did i know i was digging ma own grave
I was flogged brutally,
as i waited anxiously,
and they spoke earnestly,
i never slept fitfully
for i knew that i was building a Nation
I strove desperately ,
listening to the Clergyman attentively,
trembling and walking haltingly,
only to sell my vote for a coin to keep me going.
