Inspired responce to Steven Curtis Lance's poem, "Because He Was a Manatee".

This is a little something for Steven Curtis Lance to make him think twice before he smokes another mantee's grass! Shame on you Steven Curtis Lance, Poe's 8th C.. (LOL)



A manatee once came to me

Within a dream one night



She cried the blues for she did lose

Her stash this was her plight



She said a man who had a plan

Spoke poetry one day

...

With every word she swooned and heard

Of dugong's seaward play



She was perplexed for what come next

The poet had her stash



Just smiled did she for she loved he

Who told of dugong's cache



Dream ending well manatee fell

For dugong's long dugong



They hide their grass from poet's ass

Laughing day's dugong long
