When I give my friendship
Try to understand
I'm your friend forever
Rather like a brand
I'm here when you're happy
I'm here when you're blue
You're stuck with me like I'm
Some strong kind of glue
A friend to the end is the
Type that I am
I don't take it back or
Go out on the lam
Glad that you're my friend yes
I'll say that with pride
I'm happy to know that
We stand side by side
So if I say something
If misunderstood
Just tell me so we will
Stay friends like we should

Everyone who has you as a friend has found a real friend Jane.
You perfectly write how friendship is supposed to be, not only in good days, that's the easy part, but especially in bad days when you really need a friend.
U could never say anything to me "off color", so never to worry about that, and I always feel that friendship is next to Godliness...thank you for this write, Friend...E
