Thought about it for awhile
Got so sick of it I cried
I was missing my old smile
Something in me died
Time's the healer they all say
They are right I must agree
Stronger every single day
Something in me cried
Where'd it go where did it go
I was busy now you see
Didn't think I'd miss it so
But I do now let me be

Reviews of "Time's The Healer"

Time is like a river, it slowly sands the sharp edges from a stone. The stone remains but only as a memory of what it once was.
Time takes away the sharpness Jane and makes you stronger with every day that passes by
Time heals, but nothing is ever forgotten
not a single moment of those you have loved...
They are forever in our memory...
So smile and say thank you for being a part of my life...
Thank you for making me strong...
I really can't think of a better way
to communicate your current experience, Jane
than writing this excellent poem.
It succinctly puts a voice to your inner most
feelings, deep emotions and... finding the right
words to express all you feel...makes it a deeply
healing experience. Things improve...if given time.
Time is the healer of all things.....and soon
enough...the pain becomes a distant memory.
Thank you for sharing this poignant and heartfelt
poem with us all.
Warm wishes, love and prayers Isabella.
