"I don't get it"
When he's read my stuff
It is tough

Beach Bum ocean calls
Different drummers
Beckoning his name
Just the same

He don't have to dig
What I lay down
But he has his say
That's okay

Chuckle chuckle chuck
This line can't rhyme
You're one lucky guy
Ciao bye bye

Old Ed keeps getting all the, "slings and arrows of outrageous fortune," only to come back swinging like the long-distance hitter he really is. The fact that he, "doesn't get it," doesn't seem to affect his presence. Long live both Jane and Ed, two people destined to misunderstand each other. ;-)
