Got the blues.

Poem Artwork

Just feeling blue today
I'd like to run away
Just feeling blue
What can I do
I wish I knew

Odd puzzle part am I
Got to lie down and cry
Fitting nowhere
Don't even care
Just feeling blue

Searching for words to write
Thinking into the night
Something's amiss
I miss your kiss
What can I do

Go walking by myself
Put my heart on the shelf
Feeling so sad
Lost what I had
Just feeling blue

Keep the good memories alive in your heart and mind, and then sometimes the blues go away for a while , when they come back, just be positive that there is more out there for you to enjoy in life, you cannot put your whole soul into someone who doesn't care.

As BB King would say, If the blues didn't come knocking, I wouldn't to let them in.

When I'm feeling down,
so sad and blue.
A smile comes to my face.
when I think of you.

I've got your address, so I think I'll send you some "red-hots" from the garden. They'll blow your blues away! ;-)

The beauty of being a poet is that you can express a multitude of feelings, even feeling blue such as these. Just remember that there are many colors of the rainbow, better blue than black. Soon you will be feeling white again. John

Jane I hope this sadness leaves you soon. The loss of a loved one is too hard for me to comprehend even though it has visited me also and left that same sadness in my heart.
