This one gives me a mixed perspective. You say you "want back" what caused you to leave?

We tend to remember the best parts of a relationship. If we remembered the bad, we wouldn't want to return to it.

Mood shifts, all captured in a short (New Year's) poem (without resolutions indeed). Better leave the resolutions aside and just get on with it. The fantasies come and go and so do the mixed emotions. We all have them. Mood shifts, sounds like a good title for a poem. John
