My life is quite out of control
Somehow all my time has been stolen
That one needs this
This one needs that
I happen to wear
Many a hat
I have myself to blame
I used to wear diamonds and furs
My life used to be quite a whirlwind
The evening dress
Hob nob impress
Impressing became
Unneeded stress
A life of loathe and lame
One day I left it all behind
Worked two jobs had to make a livin'
Found who I was
Happy because
Found out I liked me
Did not take pause
Won't go from whence I came
