I have a little shadow That follows me around And if I try to talk to him He will not make a sound He looks just like me from his head down to his feet He's always by my side When I'm running down the street If I ride my bike, swing or play ball My shadow can do it all I like having a shadow He's kinda like a friend......... Even if he is pretend!!!

Now this is very cute, I like this sort of childlike poetry. Even some adults like this sort of thing so they don't feel so alone. It is like when one sits, alone but can look to what is cast in front of them. Even talk a wee bit to it... So they aren't completely alone.

such a cute poem karen....it sorta lost its rythm at the 'if i rollerblad' line and i bet just a little re arranging would fix that.
