Always remember to stop and smell the flowers…

Sure we have trepidations regards this coming year,

Some of us including yours truly do also have fear,

So many things can go wrong, so many chances for a tear,

But remember to stop along the way and smell the flowers…

Let us not worry about upcoming events,

Too many of us find reason for laments,

Does it make to you or I any real sense?

To worry and stress over the things we cannot circumvent…

Beleaguered we may be,

For our future we cannot see,

Let us try, yes you and me,

To be more this year, anxiety free…

If I can do it, so can you,

If you can do it, so can I,

We are but mere human souls,

We are here to accomplish many goals,

But in our lives we do not need to poke holes,

Let us while we do on this earth exist,

Forget the past and for the future persist…
