Job Jitters…

A new job I do have,

Working on the road I can do no problem,

But this job has so much to learn,

So many regulations and procedures,

Must be why the money I do earn,

Is better than most other jobs I have spurned…

So many positive benefits coming my way,

Including the fact of my pay,

A new car to use at my leisure,

Even on vacation for my pleasure,

Medical benefits do start real soon,

So I can take the drugs that keep me from being a loon…J

So many things to learn though,

I am not sure I can input it all,

My mind is not used to being overtaxed,

Guess it is because on most other jobs I was relaxed…

Given time I am sure I will fare well,

Glad I do not have to for this company sell,

I really, regards this position, did step in “it”,

Hell, more so than stepping in it, I may have fell…

So please all friends and fellow poets,

Please keep me in your prayers or daily thought,

I look forward to working and enjoying this job,

Its what I have been looking for, yes, I sought…
