To those I read and review, I apologize for missing your writes, but 12 to 14 hour days do not lend well to doing much else other than sleeping when I get home...thanks for your support...ed

Poem Artwork

Overtime…

Money, money, money coming my way honey,

More than I do actually need,

Not more though than I really do want,

No more for employment will I have to hunt…J

Of late I have passed my ninety-day evaluation,

Three months of sometimes anxiety and frustration,

Now they are piling on the overtime,

Fattening my pocketbook does give me motivation,

Now I wonder when I can take my first vacation…J

I sleep now when I can get the chance,

Little time do I have, unfortunately, for romance,

I do bounce around a bit more almost like a dance,

Now that I am back in the money,

No longer do I have to worry about my finance…J

Rufuz does eat better now that we have money to spend,

Have to do I keep him happy and well fed, he is my bestest friend,

I eat when I can, but sleep more so, if I can,

Our lives are definitely on an upward spiral, yes quite definitely on the mend…J
