Up till now I thought them bland,

Video games kids now play,

Addicted they are, they cannot from them stray…

I downloaded a couple games of space,

Destroy the enemy, it is such a race,

Started to play these games,

The time flew by, certainly was not one of my claims…

Got to admit I had some fun,

Never did I think I would, though the games did me outdone,

I played them, though I felt they played me,

Got to admit it was quite enjoyable,

In the future with the kids I will no doubt agree…

Took my mind off any current stress,

It gave my mind what I would call a test,

Wish I knew how to play something like chess,

First I have to get past these games with a modicum of success…
