From the very deep, deep south,

Speaks with an accent from his mouth,

Knowledge he has more than his years,

Definitely not a poet that is wet behind the ears…J

He knows his God and is strong in his faith,

He and his wife share a love for a special place,

An island even deeper in this southern space,

It is for him most calming, far from a world of bombings…J

Though of his accent I sometimes cannot understand,

His writing is that of being quite altogether grand,

Wish I had his talent it does not seem planned,

More I can say and herein expand,

But I must now leave for work, oh damn…! J
