A Somali arrives in Minneapolis as a new immigrant to the United States.
He stops the first person he sees walking down the street and says,
"Thank you Mr. American for lett ing me in this country!" But the
passer-by says "You are mistaken, I am Mexican".

The man goes on and encounters another passer-by. "Thank you for
ha! ving such a beautiful country here in America!" The person says
"I no American, I Vietnamese."

The new arrival walks further, and the next person he sees he stops,
shakes his hand and says "Thank you for the wonderful America!"
That person puts up his hand and says "I am from Middle East, I am not
an American!"

He finally sees a nice lady and asks suspiciously, "Are you an
American?"
She says, "No, I am from Russia!" So he is puzzled, and asks her,
"Where are all the Americans?" The Russian lady looks at her watch,
shrugs, and says..."Probably at work supporting the immigrants, as it should be..."

Poem Artwork

I don’t think its fair,

But what can one do,

I work and work to the point of physical disrepair,

In the end I get basically nowhere…

They get payment to live,

Homes and businesses to their families we give,

Our money goes down the drain but first through a sieve,

I hope the big guy upstairs for this statement of frustration,

Will in the end when we all meet will of me forgive…

They spend their checks,

In the Wal-Mart buying junk,

Is that where my money does go,

In their pockets so they can spend it on video…

Born an American, proudly did I serve,

My flag does fly daily, never upside down,

I mourn for those lost in world battles,

Still I bitch over treatment I receive,

When those that come here get everything free…

I need to ask...what about the immagrants that came to these land and worked hard...legally, went to school and took their pledge to be an American citizen? What does all their hard work and devotion mean when we allow something like this to take place. How stupid is Washington and just when will we get "OUR RIGHTS" back? I'm ready to march...get a picket sign and not pay taxes if it comes down to that. I'm sick and damned tired of the apathetic politicians and do gooders who feel that illegal is a crime punishable by time only for us true Americans. We have borders for a reason and I don't mean a bookstore.Where are our Minutemen when we need them?

Okay...I'm going back to my chair now.
Thanks!

It is frustrating. We need to do something about this before it escalates into something much more serious! God help us....Well done!

You hit it right on the barrel !
Unless you shout up, no one will hear you, and if we leave it much longer, we will have Aliens ruling or Townships, States and Federal Government..
And they can't say they were not warned....it's already all happened here in England...
It's just a matter of time for all Americans, unless you get the finger out now, and do something about it...
In ten years time there will be thirty million illegal Mexicanos in the USA !
And like a giant leech they are sucking your blood dry !
And I would start with the Guest Worker Plan !!!
