For thousands of years and then some,

Man has reigned his power on earth,

Destroyed this, wrecked that, havoc did come,

His imprint left on every negativity,

Hope God does understand it was all meant in mirth…?J

Man so far did one thing right,

Destroy himself he did not yet do,

He wiped out animals put here by God,

Human beings killed for a political notion,

God only knows man is not worth the skin he resides in…

We hope God has a sense of humor,

Hopefully he can see we have never grown,

Hopefully he can laugh at what man has sown,

Man is not perfect, surely He by now knows that…

Does man need more time to attain perfection?

Or should God just smite his children,

Teaching them in one fell swoop,

How they did misbehave, and forget his second resurrection…
