How many times have I said NJ sucks,

Now state employees are not getting their bucks,

The state senate (?) has yet to approve a budget,

Though the newly elected governor gets paid I bet…

Atlantic cities casino’s are shut down,

Anything state run has as well to a halt ground,

How long in this sad state of affairs are state employees bound,

All they need is a budget that both political parties thinks sound…

Seems it would be easy,

I feel for the folks who are now, for lack of a job, queasy,

I hope they get retroactive pay, which I think they are due,

Come on Governor Corzine get yourself a freakin’ clue…!

We've been there twice, and it wasn't nice. But, then again, each place got a little bit of a bad side, even the greatest.

Joerzey....I lived in Red Bank for a short while a long time ago...when Springsteen played at Asbury Park. That place had a distinct aroma about it that reading your poem brought back. Here's hoping they get their act together soon.

That's it tell them Ed, like to see the gov go without pay. It's their own fault if they can't get a budget in on time, it's all a sham to cheat the people!
