A super fine day trip it was,
Never saw not even once the fuzz,
Even if Maryland has the worst drivers,
We both made it home, happy we were survivors…
Walked from shop to shop,
Talked about buying stuff at every stop,
Dinner we had a Pusser’s right on the river,
Had steak and took home for the dog a sliver…
So many beautiful boats afloat,
Hard it was not to stare and gloat,
But someday we too will be in that harbor,
Hopefully in our own cruising boat…
