I can relate to this, I eventually got sick of almost everyone I ever worked for, so in 96 I decided to work for me, The pay's about the same, and I'm not as demanding and much easier to get along with.

Suggestion - I retired 2 years ago, and fell into a great part-time job - delivering prescriptions for an EPIC pharmacy. down here, most of them advertise FREE delivery - mine has 1 full-time driver, 5 days/wk. Me, 3 days/wk. M-W-Th, and a 3rd guy for Tu-F.

the owners spend a bunch for this, but they GROSS a whole big bunch more. Between Senior citizens, diabetics, DEPENDS users, dieters, and 'govment' programs, we are busier than 'a one-armed paperhanger with fleas!'

HANG IN THERE! Oh - P.S. re old prior job - I got FIRED from an engineering firm, for writing a memo in 1996, because of their closing our "Designated SMOKING Area!" I was the General Services Manager, pulling down about 36K, plus perks and a Company vehicle, Credit card, 401K, etc. Tried to sue - after 2.5 years, case got thrown out -

good luck on that count. here is a suggestion you can do with as you choose. go to every radio station in your area (within a 50 mile radius) tell then that you want to 'free lance' as a copy writer, writing and voicing commercials. then call every advertising agency, ask for the production director, tell them you want to free-lance, writing ad copy and doing voice overs. give it a try; something might pan out.
