I’ve not gotten high of late, June was the last time, Though tonight I fell off the wagon, One long strong solitary hit, I couldn’t stand, I couldn’t walk, It must have been some damn fine good sh… A friend did grow his own, Not far from his home, Just enough for personal consumption, Not too much at all has he grown… I owed myself today, I cleaned the shed, My Jeep got cleaned as well, For a Saturday I stayed busy, And that for me makes me feel swell… © ed ~ 9/2008**

I don't toke anymore but now and then when at a party I get a whiff of grass burning and man it brings back memories and must admit often tempted but too afraid if I did I would go back to regular cigarettes too so I resist...but each to his own...peace brother.

I do believe one's life is their own business but when you think of life alone can't you find it easy to get a high on that alone, I do. Take care Ed remember Rufuz depends on you.

An ex of mine from eons ago...Told me when he smoked weed, and listened to Pink Floyds,
The wall, he saw exactly what you see in their video clip!
Freaky huh, personally I never smoked it, second hand was bad enough for me!
Here where I live, you are allowed to grow 3 plants, anymore than that and ur busted...
So ease up on the Hooch mate, ask the Pooch he'll tell yah LOLOL

My son got in massive trouble for that junk. Not only that he became addicted, though he didn't know until he went to Narc Anonymous. He's clean now, I hope he stays that way. Your poem was well written, but bought back some bad memories.

You want to harm yourself go ahead. I guess the good Lord will keep watching over you as he has for the last years now. I don't mean to sound cruel but I have a thing against smoking since Tom my hubby killed himself over those darn cigarettes, still angry at that.

Its not that which makes you feel swell it that happy weed your neighbors growing...I'm so proud of you for the length of time you went without. Don't worry my friend, we all slip and fall. The magic is when we get back up...Great write, happy stuff or not, it was a terrific write. Love ya, Bonnie

Well, not going to condemn you. Who am I to judge? Just be careful, all I ask, 'k? Me, I smoke, but not the funny stuff...although when my back is killing me, wouldn't mind one to relax. Gotta be honest. I wouldn't!! *sigh*
