Went today to the interview,
Worried about all the paperwork,
Test for drug usage, the guy I spoke with not a jerk,
Background checks, etc, etc & so forth, nothing new…
Okay, I have to be in tomorrow in the AM at EIGHT,
Gonna do my best to awake in time,
Hope it isn’t one of those jobs where you hurry up and wait,
But will only do this time for the first five days,
After that only working two days a week, that’s NOT too great…
Will keep looking for something better with more hours,
Taking at night before bed my daily showers,
So for now a job I do gainfully have,
Thank you all for the prayers,
And thanks to those with the Godly powers…

It's hard to get jobs everywhere. Even in Canada the jobless rate are very high. So, I'm so glad that you were hired just on the first interview.
In Canada you have to go for interviews several times before you get hired.
I hope this job will begin something good for you along the path.
