Please be so kind as to read Bonnie May's most recent poem, "No Christmas This Year"...

Poem Artwork

Bonnie’s newest poem cut me to the quick,

It made me take notice and got me feeling quite sick,

Of late I have been bitching and moaning,

As I have been all wrapped up in my self,

And then this letter from a four year old,

To Santa and I find myself crying out like a hungry baby chick…

Feelings have been brought forth by her write,

That has made me to a degree realize what’s in the world, right,

I’d like to apologize to all those that have of me read,

Of my whining, bitching & moaning with regards of my petty dread…

THANK YOU Bonnie, for hitting this, in me, nerve,

Off the right road this Christmas season I HAD taken a swerve,

Usually I don’t seem to enjoy Christmas, but was only thinking of me,

I am going to try to think less of me, and this Christmas season,

Maybe I can find a way for myself to of others serve…

ED - GOD BLESS!

THE TRUE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS IS THE GIVING OF - OURSELVES !!!

NOT PRESENTS BUT - LOVE - CARING - UNDERSTANDING - HELPING OTHERS!

THAT'S THE TICKET !

Each & every day, when my eyes open, my affirmation is:

"Thank you, GOD - for another Beautiful, Wonderful Day!"

yet another chance to LIVE ... Tom.

Ed,

It left a lump the size of Dallas in my throat and tears running down my face: there, but for the Grace of God, go us. Puts things in perspective, doesn't it? We are blessed. Indeed.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Well you know Ed, with a little beard whitener, a few pillows and a practised ho ho ho, you could always become a Mall Santa...spread chair and make some Christmas cash to buy Rufus that tbone at the butcher shop he's been eyeballing. On a serious note...I too encourage all people to step forward, so many volunteers are badly needed this time of year and all year long.

Good for you, Ed! Just when you think you have it bad, there are always people who have it far worse than you will ever do! I know! TRUST me!! Know you are ever in my thoughts/prayers!

(((HUGS))) and much love to you, (((Dear Man)))!

~As always, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :) X0X0X0X0
