I have no idea what category to put this under, though most will likely find it to be boring, I enjoy remembering old boats & such...e

No not the Minnow from TV past, Not even a boat I owned, from it I never cast, Just a picture that peaked my interest, For a nice day offshore to take a rest… Wide beam of Bertram beauty, Cruising the coast in search of tasty booty, A thirty-one with engines of diesel, A boat to find comfort while performing her duty… When first the company did her launch, They we pretty much built with little flair, The basics she had, her captain she did defend with staunch, A single station in the fly, in her cockpit a single fighting chair… No more are they built, But they are re-done with fervor, She is a classic of design, Updated now with better engines, And larger fuel tanks to take her further & further… © ed 5/30/09

Columbus hadn't extra big tanks to take him further...and see how far he went, even to the point of "discovering" other unsuspecting peaceful peoples backyards which of course all of us made a mess of.
But I am digressing, when one ain't money for diesel, one can dream a sea voyage!
