Will we ever in our lifetimes see worldly peace,

The ending of wars, police actions & such all to cease,

Not to mention seeing an end to murders, or at least a decrease,

This I truly ask of God, nothing more terrible should either increase…

If we all have faith and pray,

Maybe sooner than later we’ll all be able to say,

That because of our prayer peace did come our way,

But for now we are part & parcel of the worldly fray…

So dear friends, relatives, & those I don’t know,

Keep those prayers coming in, so our world does not blow,

And become just a burned out sphere in someone else’s night sky,

For this is the reason we all do pray, for peace, yes that’s why…
