Poem Artwork

at the moment I may be,

long time to pay any fee,

hard for others to of this see,

this be only about me…

know that I am not as poor as others,

know that I have had a few mothers,

took care of me they all did,

but if I had my druthers,

of this I would have forbid…

will I ever get back up the ladder,

or will I stay as above the latter,

can’t seem to as well get control of my bladder,

why was I not just allowed to of this life leave,

when my chance did come, for a short time,

those left behind would have had to grieve…

but now that I am here,

and living day to day in fear,

I guess with that comatose self I would never with switch,

4 now I have to admit that I may be quite poor,

but with so many friends have I got, I am very, VERY RICH…

it's true, Ed. Although money is a necessary evil and the certain cause of grief, what's free in terms of the world around us and particularly the LURVE therein makes the "poorest" of men (and women) rich and, conversely, there are many empty, desititute hearts, souls and minds living in palaces these days. Can blokes do exercises for bladder control like wot us gals can do? We have an added incentive for muscular fitness, I'll admit... !! :)) xx

Sometimes friends are worth more in wealth than material possessions...especially when you feel you don't have any.

I can't relate, Ed. I am an old guy and have a lot of problems medically, but I have not come near to passing over as you did a while back. While I can't relate, I go to bed tonight, a seventy-two-year-old man and I'm not assured I will awaken in the morning. I wish you the very best, I hope your kidneys and bladder can get straight so that will be not a part of your problem. I'm thinking about you . . .

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
