Being the Hermit...

A weekend inside,

Never even went for a ride,

Solitude in my rolling cave,

Hard to believe I find it quite, for me, the rave…

 

Boredom brings forth the munchies,

Ate too much over this weekend,

Potato chips are good for the crunchies,

Cereals are good for the same,

I know, I know, sometimes my life is so lame…

 

Couldn’t of money spend,

Saved gas too, none to lend,

To take a drive, I have had to bend,

Nope, I didn’t want to use any gas,

So at home I stayed & watched the weekend pass…

Brrrrr! Just looking at the picture tempts me to grap the chip bag, a book, a blanket, and settle on the couch until spring. (I'll have to admit that I do not miss the cold northern winters at all!)

Sounds like bliss to me, hulled up in your (im)mobile igloo! As long as you were cosy and warm AND well-fed, sounds like the perfect excuse to learn a new language; explore Google Earth; write a song; do a bikini wax.... !! :)) xx

I made one foray out to the farmer's market for some broccoli and cabbages. When I get bored I cook. Made cabbages stuffed with sausage and got free methane to boot the booty. p

Sitting on my ass… (Just had to fill that in for you). ;-)

I have been out of the house for over a month. The two batteries in my van keep running down because there's so much equipment. At least I have a big house to run around in and lots of contact with the outside world. And all these ladies coming and going…

A thaw is coming and your hermitage will end
