Cape May Point,
Far southern edge of NJ,
Victorian homes oh so beautiful,
Summer sun & fun oh so bountiful…
Tis a pity the sea does here encroach,
Each year another few inches go back to the sea,
Such a wonderful place to come to NJ & see,
The lighthouse has 199 steps, not so much for me…
Ever since I was but 12 years old,
I used to climb on the bunker though it wasn’t safe,
But who knew then, as kids we are bold,
What a place to be, right on the point of,
The Atlantic ocean and the Delaware river,
So many ships to see, returning from the sea…

Now that's a good time!! Resort!
& the Waterfalls are slowly moving too!!
They will eventually not be there at all
according to the science :(

we used to get the ferry there to continue south
on route 13 and cross the Chesapeake bay bridge
now that's some sight to see....
