I don’t go anywhere,
Money is quite tight,
Besides where would I go,
I still live in Jersey,
But so far away from everything I know…
My back and hip pain has subsided,
Thank you God for this and another day,
Seems when it does flare up,
It happens this late or early depending on how you look at it…
Suicidal thoughts seem to rear up in the night,
Even though I try to avoid them,
They don’t seem to come on during the daylight,
No one to talk to at this hour,
Mostly no one around to listen to this old remnant so sour…
No matter how this comes out, Ed, we're feeling you through it. It's so good to see you here again and your seat has always been saved and kept warm for your return. Many of us are very 'in and out' these days but you have been missed and in our thoughts and prayers. Hang on to all the good thoughts and attitude of gratitude for another day - and look how far you've come, now with a place to call home (?? I think??) Even in the hustle and bustle of life, many of us feel on our own and many of us choose to be... you're always among friends here and we listen and care. It's odd just how real a cyber family can feel and be. Even though I'm a Mum and wife and work in the community here and there, I can go DAYS without speaking to a single person and it's never bothered me. It's all perspective. There is no 'normal' but what counts is the desires of our heart. In this instant, you're talking to me and I'm talking to you - and loving it. Remember life is a journey and a road we take together - even if in isolation! Another day of air to breathe and nature to observe and adequate food and drink and shelter are a blessing. And community such as we have here is to be always cherished. Nothing cheers me more on a down day even though my life is abundantly blessed and I'm thankful. Keep being honest and channelling your very real emotions and each day will be another step forward. And, on the bad days, there's always your AD Ed Brothers to take it out on...!! :) xx
Been there. Still go there sometimes. I was up at 2:30am this morning. Just remember, permanent solutions to temporary problems are a bit extreme.
i'm here for ya' old friend. If you want my phone# let me know.
We are with you and hope your courage stays strong. Sharing your problems is good for you and many readers who have similar problems. You are a beacon to many.
Hang in there Ed your getting there! If it's anything like me you will feel better each day. It took me two years to get moving around again so hang in there. Canadian Buzzard

To hell with format. This is about content. Jerry said it best. Takes time to heal, especially when are still out of your normal environment. On the bright side you do have it significantly better than your organ donor. Very pleased you are posting ol' Cuz , great therapy by the way, for you and your royal subjects
Hell, you've been through hell, man. Your mental thoughts are normal. You're trying to work things through. You'll get there. Good to see you back on the Den.
Hey, Ed!!!! I would wonder every day that I hoped you would make it. 'Did do a lot of praying for you. It's just so damn good to know that you are tougher than they thought!
Sorry folks but the way it comes out is caused by the den, not me...I print it in paragraph form with 3 paragraphs but when I copy & paste it, it comes out like the above...
Re-Release! No longer back-listed. Return to the Olde Ways. The hustle and bustle of modern day life has brought many of us to a quick fix attitude. This book is for those of you who are fed up; have looked at your life and your loved ones and realize

The format to do line break with the den's format is to hold down the "Shift" and "enter" key whenever you need a line break.
